If you’re having problems with your computer, there’s a good chance that those problems will disappear if you simply do the task the instructions say you should do.
Windows doesn’t typically have issues that need you to reset your whole computer, but if it does, resetting your computer today is simpler than it was before.
However, resetting your PC will not fix all of your issues, particularly if you have a difficulty resetting your PC. We’ll look at the “there was a difficulty resetting your PC” issue in Windows 10 in this post.

1. Perform an SFC scan

Step 2: Run sfc /scannow to check your system for problems.

Restart your computer, and the problem should be gone. If that doesn’t work, you may use this instructions to perform a DISM scan to repair any additional problems.
2. Restore the system
To fix this problem, consider restoring your system to a time when everything was working properly.
Step 1: Press the Windows key and type Reset this PC into the search box. Then, from the search results, choose the Recovery option.
Step 2: Select Open System Restore from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: To continue, choose the suggested restoration point and click the Next button.

4. The System and Software Registry Hive should be renamed
A corrupt System or Software Registry hive may potentially be the source of the problem. You may rename them to have Windows create new ones for you.
Step 1: To access the Quick Access menu, press Windows Key + X. Select Command Prompt from the drop-down menu (Admin).
Step 2: Execute the commands below one by one, hitting enter after each one.
ren system system.001 ren software software.001 cd percent windir percent system32config ren system system.001 ren software software.001

5. Make a system repair
If nothing else works, reinstalling or fixing your operating system is the best method to fix the problem.
